| Brice had already learned
to play the clarinet, piano, and bass before being seduced by the electric
guitar at age 15. He spent the '80s knocking around the Boston rock'n'roll
scene with fine (but perpetually unknown) bands such as Fazzone, Sensible
Shoes, Loose Ties, Three Hour Tour, and The Rafters. More recently, he
has performed with a capella group Serious Fun, folk-rock outfit Purple
Martin, and the fast-and-loose Silvertones (fronted by Boston rock icon
Gary Shane). He has also been in demand as a session guitarist, appearing
on CDs by Terry Kitchen and Left Turn on Red, among others. These days,
he enjoys making up songs for his ten- and two-year-old sons, playing
and listening to virtually any and every kind of music, and sitting around
watching the wheels go round and round.
