| Barry has been making
music of all kinds ever since he can remember. Equally at home with rock,
classical, jazz, and show tunes, Barry has performed and composed for
Boston rock bands Loose Ties, Sensible Shoes and Summer Street, the Turtle
Lane Theatre, Oktoberfest Theatre, the Wellesley Symphony Orchestra, and
the Stamford Symphony. Barry is a graduate of the renowned Berklee College
of Music, where he studied music composition, flute and voice. As a member
of the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, he has sung with the Boston Symphony,
Boston Pops, and Montreal Symphony orchestras, and in 1993, Barry co-founded
Serious Fun, an award-winning contemporary a cappella group. Currently,
in addition to playing with Firefly, Barry is a conductor of the Arlington
(MA) Philharmonic Society and a free-lance jazz pianist.
